Cursed Desires
A Non-Warriors Shape-Shifting Role-Play
A Non-Warriors Shape-Shifting Role-Play
Gods above, we send you our prayers from The Tribe. Please look down upon us, bless us with good hunting and your favor...
A tribe of cats live in harmony in a land created by their gods specifically for them. They live in a life structure that feels normal and right, one where even the leader must have the guidance of the Elders of the tribe before doing anything drastic. If the leader or anyone else in The Tribe, ever dares to step outside the lines that the gods that show them their favor draw out, then they tend to be punished directly from the gods. Stories are told of the third leader of The Tribe who dared to go too far with the power that the god of the underworld, Vulcanrin, gifted to him and his punishment, was to be cursed. He was driven from The Tribe, and made into the first Man. The cats know their place and they know the power the gods hold over them.
Divine gods, we look up and we pray. We are loyal and we hold your undying love. Please bless us and take away our curses that flow in our blood...
The curses given to those who do the deepest wrongs of the world are only the worse than can happen. The gods have yet to see a deed that cannot be punished fairly with a transformation to the human body where they will be forced - unknowingly - to care and love the cats they once lived among. Where there is a deepest wrong, there is the greatest good. Where there is a divine curse, there is a divine blessing. The blessing of these cats is the ability to shape-shift into no mortal creature, but rather an image of the god; a mythical creature with powers the normal shape-shifters can never match. Cats to gain this ultimate blessing, must show their loyalty over and over again and be willing to put their life on the line for the faith in the gods above.
You are the reason we are here. We know you hold a place for us in our death and we will fight, to have Vulcanrin deliver us safely to you.Where does your faith lay? Will you fight for the good of The Tribe and the gods? Or try to put aside your good nature and turn your back on everything you know to be true?
Only time shall tell.
